Your main tasks: - Migration of the internal managed business applications according to our overall consolidation plan - Contribution and end to end migration of CAx and Business solutions with external providers and integrators - Migration of client side applications and if needed request packaging for Software distribution at the external service provider - Coordination and contribution to project milestones with external providers and integrators Your profile: - Bachelor in information technology and/or successful track records in ICT Operations and Applications support in mixed production, R&D, industry and business applications environments. - VMWare (VMware Certified Professional), Microsoft (Private Cloud/ Cloud Platform and Infrastructure/ Server Infrastructure), Citrix (Citrix Certified Professional, CCA-V) certification a plus. - 8+ years in Datacenter Operations and proven experience in migration of existing environments in the Industry. - Strong technical expertise in client – server environment. - Fluent in German and English language (written and spoken). - Further language is welcome (French/Italian). - Broad understanding of various infrastructure system environments (Private Cloud, Public Cloud and outsourced services, virtualization and Client - Server solutions). - Expertise in Virtualization Technologies VMWare, -VSphere, -VCenter and Cloud Technologies - Expertise Microsoft Server Operating Systems and infrastructure - Xen Server expertise a plus - Hands on in industrial environments, CAx and Client - Server solutions - Good knowledge of network and routing - High customer orientation with rigorous work style, excellent communication capabilities and active team-working is required. - Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously - Willingness to travel and to work, when needed for operational reasons, outside of office hours.
