Your tasks: - Take an essential part in building our application, as a set of loosely coupled services of which some are built by us from scratch, some are integrated third party software products - Ensure that the application delivers its features to our customers 24/7 securely, reliably and fast Your profile: - A degree in computer science (or comparable) - A proven track record of excellent software engineering - At least five years of experience in building modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, relational databases and a modern front-end stack (Angular2+, React, or similar) - Profound knowledge in software architecture, object-oriented design, web security, identity and access management, databases and distributed systems - Experience in running business-critical applications in the cloud or on dedicated infrastructure - A structured approach in everything you do and the ability to keep complex tasks organized throughout their lifetime - A can-do spirit with a high sense of ownership - Business proficiency in English and German
