The responsibilities are: • Responsible for the global delivery of application management services and application development on SAP BW within an onshore/offshore/nearshore model. • Responsible for transforming the technical solution requirements for TechOps & QA functions (Supply chain, Quality, Manufacturing site and External supply operations) into IT understandable technical design specifications, ultimately leading to meeting the customer expectations on the solution. • Responsible for the architecture of information technology-based solutions (e.g. Business and Technical Applications as well as Platforms). • Develops and evaluates potential solution alternatives and recommends most adequate one. • Making recommendations on strategic direction and roadmap for the use and implementation of SAP applications, as well as integrated third party systems • Champion continuous improvement, driving inefficiencies out of implemented processes and solutions. • Providing technical expertise on SAP BW architecture and making recommendations to improve performance. • Providing technical leadership on upgrades and maintenance planning for SAP BW applications. • Lead and facilitate scoping, design workshops (Blueprint), assessments, planning sessions i.e. demonstrate leadership experience in upfront projects • Responsible for planning the team work based on the team capacity and work throughout. Should help the team in estimation, CAR preparation, schedule management and metrics reporting, etc. Key Experience and Skills Requirements: • 15+ years working knowledge of SAP BW Supply Chain, Manufacturing and QA applications. • 10+ years Strong background in manufacturing, QA, supply chain, and an emphasis on plant/shop floor systems in Pharmaceuticals. • Proven delivery through all phases of application management services and application development on SAP BW/SAP BW on HANA, SAP ABAP, Business Objects, SAP BPC, using Off-shore delivery. • Demonstrated delivery of GxP validated solutions. • Experience across full range of database and business intelligence tools. • Demonstrated cross functional leadership i.e. ability to look at the end to end process and understand how it fits together. • Excellent communication with executives and clients on both the business and IT side. • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment o work creatively and analytically in problem-solving. • Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline, (Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering). • Fluency in English is a must. • Offshore India based work experience is a plus. • ICE Project Management Certification is a plus.
