Responsibilities: Oracle PL/SQL developer in our Regulation Reporting DWH Working with data from the Avaloq core banking platform to prepare regulatory returns, for UK banking regulators. Change-the-Bank (CtB) and Run-the-Bank (RtB) responsibility, typically in 6-month rotations Design including some business analysis for Regulatory Reporting / Risk Reporting projects Occasional customisations our Regulatory Reporting Front-end GUI using JavaScript Business analysis, specification, implementation of changes in the Oracle DWH for Regulatory Reporting as part of project implementations 3rd level support in the regulatory reporting topics Technical testing activities during release cycles, test support Consulting and support of colleagues in Financial Control Your profile: We’re looking for a self reliant and goal oriented Senior PL/SQL Developer with a strong knowledge in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. You’ll need to have excellent analytical / problem solving skills and be quickly in understanding the root cause of issues as well as show intellectual curiosity. 2+ years Oracle SQL and PL/SQL developer experience University degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics or similar Rigorously documents her/his work Clear and concise in communication Good written and spoken English Experience in working in an international team Experience of UK regulatory return themes (Central Bank Reporting, FINREP, COREP / Basel3, MLAR, PSD, CCA) is a clear advantage Experience of UK banking regulators (Bank of England, FCA, PRA, plus EBA) is an advantage Knowledge of JavaScript is an advantage Experience of Avaloq GUI and data model is an advantage Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) accreditation is a clear advantage
