Your tasks: - Work on solutions aimed at enabling users to better make use of transport networks and the efficacy of those networks. - Collect user data in a privacy sensitive and battery efficient manner. - Implement on device analytics, including machine learnt models. - Work autonomously but integrated into a cross functional team. - Advocate for the best in Android development. - Contribute to the creation and evolution of software design and development processes. - Bring your experience in Android to cross platform discussions. - Work with the team and product owner to provide value to the user. - Work with front end development teams and clients to build outstanding mobile solutions. - Be committed to the product lifecycle, contributing to the creation of an Android development back log. Your profile: - The person we’re looking for is enthusiastic, keen to learn, data driven and passionate about user experience. You’re a creative problem solver and happy to roll up your sleeves, when the going gets tough. - Proven experience (5 years+) in native Android (Java or Kotlin) development. - Up to date with software design and architecture patterns. - Comfortable with continuous integration development pipelines. - Experiences in agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban - iOS (Swift) experience as a plus. - TensorFlow/TensorFlow lite experience as a plus. - Cross-platform development experience (KMP, Flutter, React Native) as a plus. - Full-stack experience (Java/Spring) as a plus. - English is our working language – German as a plus.
