Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that IT Security policies and standards are enforced - Monitor and analyze network performance and address identified issues in a proactive manner - Assist the Service Desks to ensure smooth and efficient collaboration with customers - Handle the events escalated by customers for the diagnosis and resolution of medium and complex incidents - Escalate to Support specialists as required - Check that daily operational activities are properly run by providers - Participate in on-call process as required - Ensure proper knowledge transfer to Support teams - Provide clear reporting to Delivery and Build Project Managers to ensure appropriate communication to stakeholders Technical skills & Experience required: - Proven experience in supporting critical network or communications services - Experience with network monitoring tools: Wireshark, Alaloop, MRTG, Solarwinds - Experience with Cisco, Riverbed - Experience in network infrastructure: WAN, Internet, LAN, WLAN, Perimeter Security - Communication technologies knowledge: PBX, IPT, VoIP, CUCM, MCU, Cisco, Tandberg, Vidyo. Protocols: H.323, SIP and WebRTC) - Shell scripting experience - Broad range of understanding of ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices - Proven analytical and troubleshooting abilities
