Your tasks: Your main goal in this role will be shaping the next generation elevator operating system with your broad skill set and an interest in driving forward cutting edge technologies. You will challenge the current architecture and shape and define the right architecture for the future while leveraging industry best practices. Your key responsabilities include: - Collaborating with product management and different stakeholders to define and align vision and requirements - Define, document and refine the software archtitecture for a next-generation elevator operating system - Investigate available software and technology frameworks for their applicability and fit - Evaluate architecture and technology choices using proof of concepts and prototype implementations - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify requirements and define APIs consumed by other systems or subsystems - Definition of sprint plans and development roadmaps - Technical leadership and guidance to software engineers in implementation of architectures and designs Your profile: You are a passionate and self directed person with an entrepreneurial mindset and an analytical and integrative way of thinking. You like to learn new technologies, to drive forward innovation and to work in a collaborative team environment. Further qualifications may include: - Degree in comupter science, software engineering or equivalent - Extensive experience in software development with at least 3 -5 years experience in system engineering and/or software architecture - Experience with agile methods and contemporary development practices - Broad knowledge of various architecture and design principles used in various fields - Good understanding and proven interest in technology landscape and trends in embedded systems development - Experience with test automation and unit testing frameworks - Good understanding of Englisch and German
