Your tasks: Support the IT Operations team within the Service Desk function Support Microsoft Operating System components on desktop, servers and in the cloud Install, configure and upgrade systems Maintain and continuously update knowledge base and how-to articles Provide 1st and 2nd level support for select business applications operated in-house Work closely with IT developers and testers prior to deploying application / infrastructure updates into production. Augment monitoring systems for both application and infrastructure components. Actively automate repetitive tasks through scripting or workflow automation tools Your profile: Experience with Microsoft solutions: mainly private cloud infrastructure Knowledge of hardware, storage solutions and network components, including firewalls Powershell scripting skills Service oriented, accurate, creative & flexible Good knowledge of written and spoken English Optional: Linux administration skills Azure public cloud knowledge
