Your tasks: Deliver scalable ingestion processes to capture data from many different data sources. Script data transformations and orchestrate data processing pipelines in AWS. Identify, resolve and prevent data quality issues in collaboration with test/production engineers and identify optimization potentials and implement them. Support internal customers in data consistency-related issues. Monitor, maintain and optimize ingestions, transformations and pipelines. Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in Data and Analytics and related domains, and proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements. Your profile: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering (applied science or similar) or proven experience in a similar position. Proven experience delivering solutions on AWS, and working with different AWS/cloud native technologies like S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, Athena, EMR, RDS, EC2, Lambda, Step function, and cloud formation templates. Proven experience transforming data with Spark and Python. Experience in relational database design, implementation, and tuning (SQL). Knowledge of Data modeling and information classification. Self-driven and proactive mindset, with good communication skills (fluent English) and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements, and propose innovative solutions.
